On April 6th, 2021, AZCentral reported: Carl Hodges, a longtime Arizona innovator and prominent atmospheric scientist who was one of the first to recognize and address climate change using seawater, died the morning of April 3rd at 84 years old after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
