This Weekend Rundown sponsored by RPR Mexico
Weather reports note we’ve hit a warm front here in northwestern Mexico, with temperatures reaching up to 100°F in Hermosillo – while in Puerto Peñasco we’re settling in at about mid to high 80s. Interestingly, usually around Semana Santa clouds seem to always roll in and things cool off a bit…but the weather forecast looks sunny for weeks to come, so let’s rundown the weekend!
April 10
A little bird or two told us the Malecón is the place to be tonight for live music at popular spots such as BooBar and Beach Bum. We’re dusting off our salsa shoes (well, as much as can be expected in our desert by the sea), and will be headed out to see the likes of Agua de Coco as well as Jesse Gerardo and his crew La Katerva. ¡Azucar!
April 11 – 13
The 59th Annual Fishing Derby of the Cholla Bay Sportsmen’s Club is back at it for Phase II. The CBSC Fishing Derby now consists of four Phases, stretching from March through May. Upcoming dates May 2 – 4 and May 22 – 24, yes with a Fish Fry at the end!
