Candles, flowers, altars, catrinas, visits to the cemetery. This weekend marks Day of the Dead traditions in Mexico as families visit honor loved ones who have gone before us. The city’s three cemeteries have received attention from local authorities in recent weeks, all in preparation for the hundreds of people who will make their way to adorn the tombs of their dearly departed. In town, there are also a number of ways you can share in these traditional festivities. Please note: schools/offices/banks will be closed on Friday, Nov. 2nd ….and as the ebb and flow of Peñasco would have it, next week also marks the 18th Annual Rocky Point Rally!
