This weekend rundown sponsored by John & Kathy Witt – Watch for John in upcoming HGTV HouseHunters International!
Summer is heating up and we’re running smack into the U.S. 4th of July weekend! Boulevard Juarez coming into town is now open in both directions (sidewalk and curb work still going on)! Monsoon season has begun, evidenced here by rising humidity – still, we’re only expected to get about .01″ of moisture in the coming days (sweat wise, I believe that is per person). So, let’s rundown the weekend.
Sadly, both the U.S. and Mexico are out of the World Cup but we’ve still got baseball. Tiburones are in town tonight (July 3) to wrap up the series against Mineros of Cananea. This also marks the end of Tiburones regular season home games, and currently they’re in third behind Hermosillo and Caborca. Game time tonight, July 3rd at 7:30 p.m. We’ll stay tuned for play-off games. Check the schedule at Rol de Juegos

July 5 – Banditos! We hear Roger will be in town to strum it up at Banditos under the palapa on Saturday evening. Take note, palapa replacement/fixing work soon to go on at Banditos so they’ll be taking about a month long summer break right after the World Cup final, starting July 13th.
