The 2nd Annual Sand Castle Contest to benefit the José Dávalos “Casa Hogar” Retirement Home promises a lot of family fun! The contest will be held on August 18th on Playa Hermosa (just east of Playa Bonita near the large palapa).
Participants will have 2 hours to build their castle, and will be able to participate in activities & games against the other teams in order to win extra points.
Teams should be made up of no more than 7 members, and the entry fee is $500 pesos, which is a donation directly to the Casa Hogar.
All ages are welcome to participate in this beach event, participants are allowed to bring their own umbrellas, coolers, and tools needed to build their sand castle.
Winners of the contest will receive gifts from local sponsors!
