School’s in session? Rocky Point Weekend Rundown!

Sponsored this week by the October Dirty Beach Mud Run! Get ready!

Hear that early morning buzz returning to our daily routine? Yes, local students are headed back to school so be sure to watch for them walking to school, and even more so the early morning “rush hour” of their folks trying to get them there.  While most high school students returned to classes this past Monday, students of all ages will be back at it starting Aug. 20th. Does that mean summer is over? No! Haven’t you felt the humidity? Seen the shining sun? Summer is still going strong, so let’s run down the weekend and take a look at what’s coming up! Yep, time to start planning for Labor Day and then Fall Break!

Giving back

Schools are starting up again and yes, you can still help out with school supplies! Planning a trip to Rocky Point and wanting to give back to the community? Here are some ideas: AIM Peñasco School Supply drive (drop off spots at Satisfied Frog, Hacienda del Sol furniture store, Las Conchas office) or how about new/lightly used school items for the Club Ecologico school packets (please contact for more information on that) GRACIAS!
