The skies opened up over Puerto Peñasco yesterday, seemingly also in mourning after the city was struck by news from the weekend of a tragic bus accident involving young boxers and their trainers. As a community, we come together and continue to celebrate life.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds to help the families of each of the 6 individuals that lost their lives in the accident, and may be accessed at: Boxing Youth die in fatal bus accident
The rain will give way to sunshine by the weekend, though temps are expected to only reach into the high 60s. Let’s run down the weekend as we inch toward official Spring. Ah yes, and we continue in the midst of Spring Break … ¡Viva la vida!
