It’s the second weekend in November. For the past 20 years, this time of year is generally filled with the rumble of motorcycles roaring about town. Though activities surrounding what would have been the 20th Anniversary of the Rocky Point Rally have officially been postponed to next year due to Covid, we are sure to hear the echoes of steel horses gallivanting about many of our favorite local watering holes. Saturday may even include an impromptu bike parade on city streets, since that’s all about social distancing, qué no?
Welcome, bikers and visitors. Mask up and stay healthy. Let’s run down the weekend…and don’t forget to plan for Thanksgiving…
For the ride down: Border hours (both ways) remain modified, with border closure at 8 pm daily. U.S. limitation on “non-essential” travel extended to Nov. 21st. Impact is mostly on northbound travelers (US citizens and US permanent residents only – or for essential medical/education/commerce purposes). REMAIN ALERT TO BORDER HOURS!
