Now on Fridays and Saturdays there’s a new tasty option in town for the palette, authentic German Sausage at “Walter’s Brats”. German Chef Walter Malchow, originally from Frankfurt and a recent newcomer to the area after he moved to Puerto Peñasco from Chihuahua, sets up shop from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. on the corner of Blvd. Fremont and Ave. Nuevo Leon (on the way to Las Conchas and about 2-3 blocks South of Banorte). Walter prepares the “brats” himself, cooks them up, and serves them with bread and a variety of toppings. Chef Walter is nothing new to the culinary world; he tells us while in Frankfurt he was a chef for the Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, James Taylor, and even Pavarotti! We hear that Walter’s “brats” can also now be found in a number of Puerto Peñasco’s local restaurants.
Look for Walter and his “brats” on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the corner of Blvd. Fremont and Ave. Nuevo León. Tel: 638 110 4970 Catering services also available. You can find Walter at: www.waltersbrats.com
Congratulations Walter !
You have introduced something to Puerto Penasco that what was missing for a long time:
‘German Bratwurst’.
I think you will do well because visitors from the States, Canada and Europe
know very well the unique taste of a ‘Bratwurst’.
