The Links golf course in Puerto Peñasco recently welcomed golf professional Luis Torres as its new Golf Director. Luis envisions golf as one of the most important tourism attractions in Puerto Peñasco, and has set out a plan based on excellent service and broadening golf’s reach to more people while promoting golf to attract more tourism to Puerto Peñasco.
During his almost 20 years as a golf amateur, Luis earned nearly 20 trophies while pursuing a degree in Marketing and graduate studies in International Business. His professional experience from 2004 to date has included positions at various golf courses in Mexico, Club de Golf Bosques in Mexico City, Guadalajara Country Club, Club de Golf Tres Vidas Acapulco, and most recently at the Península golf course here in Puerto Peñasco.
Luis, who expresses his pleasure with the opportunity to now work at Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort, invites all golf enthusiasts to visit the course and enjoy a new level of service, and the facilities of The Links golf course.
