Summer temperatures are expected to reach up into the high-90s this weekend in Puerto Peñasco, with a low of 77○F. All who visit these beaches will be able to enjoy hot sunny days while cushioning the impact of the heat by drinking lots of water and eating fresh foods.
At the border, the Civil Protection Unit of Sonoyta has issued a heat warning for the area, beginning on Thursday, June 27th through July 1st, with temperatures there expected to reach up beyond 100○F. Residents and tourists passing through Sonoyta are reminded to stay well hydrated and avoid exposure to the sun for long periods of time. The Civil Protection Office further suggests wearing light-weight clothing, while being sure to use sunblock.

La Unidad Municipal de Protección Civil de Sonoyta emitió un aviso para dar a conocer que a partir de este jueves y hasta el 01 de julio el municipio fronterizo registrará altas temperaturas por lo que hizo una invitación a tomar medidas preventivas para evitar los efectos por el calor
Por que se pronostican temperaturas hasta de 46 grados como máximas para el fin de semana en la comunidad de Sonoyta es que se invita a sus habitantes y a los turistas que cruzarán por esta ciudad a tomar muchos líquidos y evitar exponerse a los rayos del sol por largos periodos, así también protección civil sugirió usar ropa ligera y bloqueador solar.
Mientras tanto para Puerto Peñasco se prevén temperaturas de 36 grados como máxima y 25 como mínima para este fin de semana por lo que turistas que visiten estas playa podrán disfrutar de días calurosos y soleados cuyo clima se puede amortiguar con la ingesta de agua , bebidas y alimentos frescos.
