The Malecon Fundadores will once again serve as an extension stage for the 47th annual International Cervantino Festival this coming October 24-27.
This will be the eighth time, fifth year consecutively, in which our city serves as an extension site for the prestigious festival.
On this occasion, we will be able to admire performances across 5 different stages with performances by Guadalupe Pineda, the National Folklore Dance Academy, Los Salmeron, opera singer Elena Rivera, and the reggae group Rastrillos, among many others.
Aside from the main performance stages, there will also be a theater tarp, mimes, the traditional “callejoneadas” (alley performances), living statues, photography expos, paint, art shows, writer presentations, and several diverse workshops.
