The City’s Office of Social Communication recently released a press bulletin reminding property owners they will receive a 15% discount on property taxes paid in January. In addition, everyone who pays property taxes during this time will be entered into a raffle for a 2012 Ford Courier pick-up. Those who pay in January will receive three tickets. Property tax payments made in February will receive a 10% discount, and two tickets for the pick-up raffle. There is a 5% discount for those who pay in March, plus one ticket for the raffle.
The Treasury Office at City Hall is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. In addition, this year people may make tax payments at any OXXO provided you have your statement with the appropriate bar code, which can be obtained from Community Centers across the city and at the offices of the Municipal Youth Institute.
