Decorations are going up in front of City Hall and the fountain base at Shrimp Plaza is ready to be filled with toys during the 3rd Annual DIF Toy Drive, set for this Sunday, Dec. 11th. The local DIF, office on Integral Family Development, is asking people to once again bring children’s toys to donate to the drive (and blankets) that will be distributed to families in need during this particularly chilly holiday season.
In past years, the Juguetón Toy Drive has also included refreshments, music and entertainment, so who knows what we can all expect this year. The goal of course is to fill up the fountain base with toys of all kinds that will help brighten up Christmas celebrations across town. So, bring a toy or two and join in on the DIF Toy Drive Dec. 11th from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Shrimp Plaza (just across from City Hall)!
