The local Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) seeks to repeat the success of the now annual “Buy Locally and we all Win” campaign, with sights set on a growth in sales at local businesses now through December, detailed CANACO President Elia Neyda Javalera Cháevez.
The campaign, aimed at encouraging people to buy locally, will culminate in December with a drawing for raffle prizes totaling approximately 70,000 pesos, which will include household appliance, school supplies, and much more.
From now through the end of December, participating businesses around town will provide raffle tickets to customers. Currently, 20 businesses are signed up in this year’s campaign, and others are encouraged to join.
