Casago’s Human Resources Department collected toys for kids in need in the Rocky Point community
Rocky Point, Sonora, Mexico (December 27, 2019) – After decades of doing business in the Rocky Point community in Sonora, Mexico, staff and executives at Scottsdale-based Casago know that there are many children in need who could use an extra dose of holiday cheer. To help in this effort, associates with the vacation rentals and property management company’s Human Resources department collected toys to donate to children in need.
“Rocky Point is such a welcoming and friendly community, and we know that there are families in the community that could benefit from some assistance this holiday season,” said Steve Schwab, Founder and President of Casago. “I’m proud of the efforts of Casago’s Human Resources Department to identify this need and help spread some holiday cheer.”
Altogether, Casago collected and donated hundreds of toys for children in need in Rocky Point. The collected toys were distributed at Rocky Point’s annual holiday celebration, or “posada” in Spanish.
Steve Schwab is also the founder of the Mexico Children’s Foundation. To date, the Mexico Children’s Foundation has directly and indirectly assisted hundreds of children across Mexico with their medical procedures and expenses, helping families in economic distress, and offering support for education costs.
