Santiago Ruiz Hurtado will be stepping down after five years serving as Board President for the José Dávalos Valdivia Home for the Elderly, affectionately known as Casa Hogar. The transition process to a new board is currently underway, in coordination with the San Francisco parish.
Ruiz Hurtado expressed satisfaction with results achieved at Casa Hogar over the last five years, noting while he’ll step down as President he will return to his role as volunteer at the home.
The exiting Casa Hogar board president detailed the full transition to a new board is scheduled to take place in early October.
