Covid-19 protocols lead to adjustment in cancer detection campaign

Carmen Morales Valles, president of the local George Papanicolaou chapter, reports the group is making necessary adjustments to their free October cancer detection and prevention campaign to ensure compliance with COVID-19 protocols.

While necessary adjustments are made and dates set for the annual campaign, Morales Valles urges women over 35, or at a reproductive age, to visit the Papanicolaou unit as cancer screenings are constantly available for any requesting assistance. She stressed, while there is life, there is hope.
