Wind gusts knock out power toward Miramar.

As a result of wind gusts and rain last night, around 90 posts from the high tension line that services East Beach (Playa Dorada, Miramar, Mayan Palace) collapsed, leaving the area without service at the moment. Staff from CFE and Telmex are evaluating the situation and making temporary arrengements to bypass the grid to be able to supply electricity. At the moment full repairs are estimated to take weeks. We will update on the situation as soon as more information is released.
