The first Brasa Fest 638 held on May 25th on the grounds of Peñasco del Sol hotel exceeded expectations, welcoming nearly 750 people who delighted their palettes with the variety of grilled dishes.
The event, which was completely sold out, brought together culinary professionals from across the gamut including chefs and restauranteurs, along with culinary students from UTPP. Bacanora representatives also took part in sharing the emblematic beverage of Sonora, along with wine producers Cuatro Sierras from Cananea and Brisal from Baja California.
In a family-friendly picnic like atmosphere, people gathered around grills, gourmet preparations, spirits, wines, and music in a perfect setting where food was the main ingredient, and topped with musical participations of Irma Pérez Parelló and the group Agua de Coco.
Proceeds from this first Brasa Fest 638, which are to be defined in coming weeks, will be donated to the 2 Fish Ministries foundation in Puerto Peñasco, which provides meals to those in need.
