Sponsored this week by Tekila Bar – Happy Anniversary!
October! Usually the best weather of the year in Rocky Point and yes, thanks to tropical storm Rosa early in the week, humidity levels have now dropped and we’re heading into Fall. However, Rosa also left behind a slew of spontaneous lakes (which appear now and again when we get rain), as well as visages of pot holes sprucing up. Please note – the roads to Puerto Peñasco from Tucson or Phoenix are open (mindful of the washes), as well as along the Coastal Highway down from San Luis Rio Colorado (mindful of the sand dunes). NOTE: the road between Peñasco – Caborca has temporary closures due to the rains and water flowing to the sea along the Rio Sonoyta, so if coming in from the South be advised to go up through Sonoyta and then the highway back to Rocky Point.
As October would have it, there’s plenty going on so get here safely and then run down the weekend!
