Puerto Peñasco welcomed June with the traditional honoring of Día de la Marina and laying of wreaths at sea and in the Old Port. As a port city with a rich history of fishing as its first main economic activity, and home to a Naval base, June 1^st is a well honored tradition in town honoring members of Mexico’s Navy as well as the work and sacrifices of local fishermen. Festivities continue with a concert on Saturday night, replete with the Queen of the Marina, fair rides, and more!
