Recent holiday rains in Puerto Peñasco have left footprints across many of the city’s main roads in the form of “baches” (pot holes), which are often difficult to avoid.
Though work is being done to temporarily cover the pot holes with dirt and sand, they can be easily spotted (and felt) along many city streets including Ave. Sinaloa, Blvd. Josefa Ortiz, Ave. Lázaro Cárdenas, Ave. Simón Morua, streets in the city’s center, and other important roads in town.
Recommendations for holiday traffic, until pot holes are covered, is to try to avoid them if spotted early enough, as well as to drive cautiously and at low speeds. At night, be sure to drive slowly in order to be able to spot pot holes at a distance.
Happy New Year!
