Following months of anticipation, planning, and promotion, the Sta. Patricia’s Peñasco Palooza had one last hurdle to overcome on the evening of March 17th: the weather.
Wild winds swept through Puerto Peñasco precisely as the first group, Mariachi Duran, took the stage. Sets by Alan Munro and Riband were both cut short due to the wind. While initially the platinum artist line-up headlining group of classic rock musicians had stilled planned to perform, it was soon apparent this was not going to happen.
Though there were spurts of calm, the wafting sand and reports wind was set to pick up even more, along with a slight chance of rain (rain, really??? Come on!), all led to the announcement that for safety considerations for both musicians and the public this Palooza party would have to be postponed.
Ticket holders are told to hold on to their wristbands in order to use these in the future, and all information concerning future dates will be at www.homeofthebraveconcerts.com once made available. We too will bring you as much information as possible once we know.
