From the White Mountains in Northern Arizona, to the beaches of Rocky Point, Sonora, Mexico. Bob Livingston of Thunder Raceway in Show Low, along with his partner Darren Dodd, bring over 30 years of racing experience to their new facility in Rocky Point. Aptly named “Thunder on the Beach Raceway”, the facility will host a series of world class events including, circle track racing featuring Modified, Sprint & Dwarf cars.
The 2012 schedule is shaping up with the following adrenaline pumping events:
Sand Drags, Twelve Mile Off-Road Race, Lucas Oil Regional Truck Race and Monster Truck Show. In addition to the motorsports events, we will host The Dirty Beach Mud Run, a 5-K fun filled obstacle course for those looking for a physical thrill.
Under the warm Mexican Sun, at a track that lies between the Sonoran desert and the clear blue waters of the Sea of Cortes’ is a place that is perfect for motor racing enthusiast to gather to watch their favorite motor sports!
