This weekend rundown sponsored by The Club @ Laguna del Mar
While our Winter whales have been spotted by a few folk as we near the end of January, they seem to be a ways out and so we’re still waiting for word from local “whale whisperer” Oscar Preciado [of Del Mar Charters] as to when we may catch some tail … whale tail. Still, evening cruises so far in 2016 have featured some spectacular sunsets over the Sea of Cortez! Following sunny and pleasant this weekend, we’re heading into a “cold spell” next week so be sure to bundle up (highs in the low 60s and lows may reach almost freezing – good time to donate a blanket or two to the Red Cross, DIF, or Fire Department by the way). By the first weekend of February, however, we should be back to our usual 70s as we warm up for Valentine’s Day.
Let’s run down what’s up in town!
