On Thursday, July 21st, the first TAR flights between Puerto Peñasco, Hermosillo, Tijuana, and Cd. Juárez will begin, offering new connectivity meant to promote Puerto Peñasco regionally, nationally, and internationally.
The first TAR flight is scheduled to fly into the Mar de Cortés International Airport at 10:30 a.m., where additional information will be presented about the flight now set to connect with important cities in Sonora, Chihuahua, and Baja California.
In promotional campaigns run at a national level, Director of Tourism in Sonora (COFETUR) Antonio Berumen mentions the connection between Hermosillo and Puerto Peñasco will be of tremendous benefit, first due to aerial connectivity and secondly given the commitment to improve and further promote this important destination regionally, nationally, and internationally.
TAR flights are programmed to operate Thursdays and Sundays, with varying schedules and accessible pricing, cutting down up to 8 hour travel times to just an hour or two by air.
