If you’re into humidity, July and August in Puerto Peñasco are spectacular! There may not be as many weekend events, yet there’s plenty of activity as summer is actually the busiest time for area hotels. With summer vacation in mind, we’re offering this Summer Rundown and will be back with the Weekly Rundowns come right around Labor Day. Along with a look at things coming up, we present some of our tips for keeping cool and active around town over the coming weeks. Enjoy!
Happy 87th to Puerto Peñasco! Though officially named a municipality in 1952, and with a history of visiting fishermen as early as 1922, the first residents of Puerto Peñasco established themselves here 87 years ago! July 9th, 1952 was when the area became a municipality though the date has come to celebrate the city’s initial residents. ¡Felicidades!
