This Friday, starting at 9 a.m., scores of people will breathe life into biblical figures by representing the traditional Stations of the Cross. The procession will begin on the malecon and end with the “crucifixion” of Christ at the foot of the hill located just near the entrance to the Old Port.
The religious event, which attracts residents and visitors alike, will include public safety elements on hand to prevent incidents in ensuring overall calm during the reenactment.
Similarly, the Guadalupe Parish will hold its own Stations of the Cross procession, beginning from Cemetery #1 and ending at the Guadalupe Church on Ave. Simon Morúa.
