Spring! Ah yes, in case you’ve had your head buried in the sand recently, everyone seems to be on Spring Break these days and actual Spring starts Monday. By the way, plan ahead as Monday (March 21) will be a holiday honoring Benito Juárez, one of Mexico’s most iconic presidents in the mid 1800s. Speaking of holidays, next week also marks the beginning of Semana Santa (Holy Week) and you can expect area beaches and the malecón to be PACKED with colorful bandas, beach goers, and families particularly starting from about Thursday night. IMPORTANT: OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS WILL BE March 21st AND March 24th and 25th (NO Banks, etc.). Ok, let’s run down the weekend!
