Ignite the Beach – 1 p.m. – 3 a.m. Live DJs all Day and Night plus the Ying Yang Twins on the 14th
Spring Break DJ Spots – Sonoran Sky Tiki Bar, Peñasco del Sol Hotel, CRAZY (formerly Ice Box) in Mirador, Gua Gua, Playa Bonita, Baja Cantina
March 15th
Glamis Status and Rocky Point Speedway present Rocky Point Takeover car races, sand drags, contests, music & entertainment – Gates open at 1 p.m. Entrance $10 USD
Mermaid’s Arts Market – Plaza del Camarón 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
St. Patty’s Day corned beef dinner – Old Boys Social Club in Cholla Bay 6 p.m.
4th Cabalgata Feminil – 4th Annual Women’s Horseback Ride – departing from the baseball stadium after around 9 a.m. $170 pesos for participants (Bring your horse?)
Remember! Registration is still open through March 15th for the 5K Toma Color fun run (to take place March 30th), with proceeds going to help equip the Dialysis Center of the local DIF. Stop by Puerto Viejo Café (across from Thrifty) in the Old Port to register!
March 17th – Mexican Holiday in honor of Benito Juarez’s birthday (March 21st but commemorated on Monday) DAY OFF … St. Patrick’s Day!
