This past Saturday (4/14), was the 3rd consecutive year for the Atomic Crew Skate Event at the malecón in the Old Port. The event attracted lots of people, including some from outside the municipality and from other states.
It was an event on wheels with tremendous audacity and talent, with those not skating there in support, which took over the malecón with young athletes (and acrobats)! The super grand prize in the expert category was named a representative for the city!
Thanks to UncleSkate, and other sponsors, the event – along with the after party at BooBar – was a chance to showcase interest in skateboarding as well as to raise funds for a Skate Park here in Puerto Peñasco. The Skate Park will one day be a safe spot where skateboard fans and experts can get together and fulfill their potential.

Skateboard “fest”
Este sábado fue el tercer año consecutivo del concurso de Skate en el Malecón, un evento que convocó a muchísimas personas, incluso fuera del municipio y de otros estados.
Un evento sobre ruedas con mucha audacia y talento, donde el que no patinaba apoyaba, inundando el Malecón de jóvenes deportistas (y acróbatas). Siendo el gran primer lugar de la categoría de expertos ¡un representante de esta cuidad!
Gracias a UnkleSkate y los demás patrocinadores, este, junto con la after party en Boobar después, son para mostrar el interés y juntar fondos para construir un SkatePark aquí en Puerto Peñasco. Un lugar seguro donde aficionados y expertos convivirían y desarrollarían su total potencial.
