This year marks the 1st Festival de Mariscos “Fish Bowl” Seafood Fest of the local Rotary Club, in partnership with the artisans of the Mermaid’s Market! ….it’s going to be a blast, and tasty at that! In celebrating our seaside community, the Seafood Fest seeks to highlight a number of yummy dishes from ceviche to escabeche, fish burgers to possibly even paella …yum! Plus, 3 Boys will be on hand so you can take fresh fish home and prepare it yourself! Oh, and why call it the “Fish Bowl”? Well, you got it, this lip smacking fest aims to find its home on the Saturday before the Super Bowl – plus, look for fishbowls around the raffle area as you check out all the great packages!

Where: Shrimp Plaza (at intersection of Blvd. Juarez and Blvd. Fremont) – parking on east side of shrimp park as well as along Blvd. Fremont
Cost? There will be food / beverage tickets available on site at a cost of $1 US (20 pesos) per ticket You can then exchange the tickets at the food stands and “Rotary bar” Most dishes running 1-3 tickets or so – cerveza 2 tickets water/soda 1 ticket
Raffle prizes? You betcha! Raffle tickets are $5 US (100 pesos) each or 5 tickets for $20 US (400 pesos) and here’s the deal, you get to choose which raffle item(s) to bid on by dropping your raffle ticket in the appropriate fishbowl – you’ll see!
