Sponsored this week by La Casa del Capitán – featuring spectacular sunsets nightly beginning around 7 p.m.
It may be Olympic fever, or just August monsoon tropical depressions, but it’s warm out there…and windy! Tropical storm Javier didn’t manage to dump any water on Peñasco, but we are still getting our fair share of winds and waves. Watch for dock closures if you’ve got boating plans in mind.
As we round out the final weekends of the summer, it’s about time for kids to head back to school. There’s plenty of programs around town putting together “school stuff” for kids, including a collection of new and/or “gently” used school supplies this Sunday on the malecón. If you’d like more info as to possibilities of where to go/who to contact please drop us a note (info@rockypoint360.com)
