The local English Broadcast “Rocky Point Ramblings”, heard noon to 2 p.m. every Saturday on 106.1 FM, will be celebrating its one year anniversary on Nov. 12th with a live remote from the Malecon, yes from the middle of the Rocky Point Rally fiestas! If you haven’t caught the show before, be sure you do! Each Saturday, broadcasters Russ Black and Rosie Glover highlight what’s going on in and around Rocky Point. On Nov. 12th, Russ tells us they will be raising money for the local fire department and will have lots going on. The local fire department is one of the seven charities who will receive funds raised during the Rocky Point Rally event. If you’re on the Malecon on Nov. 12th, be sure to look for Russ and Rosie’s Barrel Cantina (is that a cantina in a barrel?) as well as the Radio Sol Remote Van.
