Rocky Point’s Department of Animal Control of the Municipal Health Office is carrying out a permanent free pet-vaccine campaign (anti-rabies and against both internal and external parasites). This is being done at the department’s offices located at the former airport along the Penasco-Sonoyta highway. Each Friday, the campaign moves to a spot within the city. Today, Oct. 28th, the clinic was set up on the “La curva” basketball court, on Coahuila about a block South of City Hall.
For more information (in Spanish) as to upcoming sites, call 388-5152. It is worth noting there will also be a permanent pet sterilization campaign set up at the department’s offices in the former airport facilities, at a cost of 200 pesos for females, and 100 pesos for males.
On November 11th and 12th, we are pleased to report there will be a free pet sterilization campaign located in Shrimp Plaza beginning at 8 a.m.
