The young athlete Fernando García Morales, known by his friends as “el Monchin,” is participating in the 2016 Mr. Sonora Body Builder contest being held this weekend in Cd. Obregón. Following 6 arduous months of preparation, four of which were dedicated to gaining volume and another two to burning off body fat, Fernando is ready to compete! It’s worth noting in the most recent event he competed in, Fernando came in first place in the rookie categories, as well as second place overall.
Fernando has been working at body building for the past 4 years at his family’s gym, known as “Super Gym”, located at Calle Lázaro Cárdenas and Av. 46, which is open to the public mornings from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. and evenings from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
