What do fresh fish, flower displays, green olives, glass jewelry, sweater dresses, veggies, tamarindo, and chocolate have in common…not to mention paintings, photography, iron works, and more? They’ve all been part of the Farmers Market & Art Show every other Saturday, located just behind Don Julio’s (turn right one block after Banorte bank off of Blvd. Fremont). Yep, another two weeks have gone by and it’s time to launch the March dates of the Farmers Market – March 3, March 17, and March 31. Live music and open patio leading directly into Don Julio’s (with Sat. buffet and drink specials). *Market Spring schedule for every other week through Memorial Day weekend – check the Event Calendar)* Plus, look for a table set up by the local DIF (which has been there on occasion) in order to drop off blankets, non-perishable items, or donations!!
Where: Just behind Don Julio’s, in the parking lot/entrance of the hacienda style building
When: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Vendors – Local artists and food sellers: Contact Mike McLaughlin for more info or to check space availability. $20 – $30 US per booth, plan to bring own table, chairs, and tarp (if you like). Open to public @ 10 a.m. There is also generally a spot for in-kind donations to the local DIF (office on Integral Family Development)

Sigue el tianguis de venta de productos frescos locales y regionales, así como expo de Arte, el sábado, 3 de marzo de 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. atrás del restaurante Don Julio en el estacionamiento del edificio estilo hacienda sobre Av. Morelos. Y siendo conscientes del medio-ambiente, por favor traigan su propia bolsa ecológica para sus compras! Pregunten por descuentos si trae sobretodo producto fresca (frutas, verduras, pan, etc.)
