The local group Recicladora EcoHope reminds us to make sure among our New Year’s resolutions we include: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. To kick off the year, one way to get these resolutions started is to stop by Plaza la Madre (by the baseball stadium at the intersection of Blvd. Juarez and No Reeleccion) on Saturday, Jan. 7 in order to help take down the Christmas tree created with empty plastic bottles of all shapes and sizes. Can’t wait to get started? You can still deposit empty plastic bottles for recycling in a bin located by the kiosko in the middle of the Plaza up until Jan. 6.
