The Municipal administration of Puerto Peñasco, via the Office of Civic and Cultural Affairs, is bringing part of the 3rd Desert Film Festival to town with screenings to be scheduled April 12th and 13th. Invited guest of honor Armando Vega Gil (of the former rock group Botellitos de Jerez, and described by La Jornada newspaper as a “writer, poet, script writer, film columnist, troubadour, performer and guacarroquero”) will hold a script writing workshop April 10th, 11th, and 12th in the Audiovisual Hall of the Municipal Library (across from City Hall). Screenings* to be held in the Municipal Auditorium next to the Library.
Don’t pass up this wonderful festival of independent film! This year, the invited country of the Desert Film Festival is Bosnia and Herzegovina.

¡Puerto Peñasco, atención! 3er Festival Internacional de Cine en el Desierto
El Gobierno Municipal de Puerto Peñasco a través de la Dirección de Acción Cívica y Cultural trae el Festival de Cine en el Desierto el 12 y 13 de abril. Tenemos invitado de lujo, Armando Vega Gil (Botellita de Jerez), quién dara un taller de guión con fechas de 10, 11 y 12 de abril en la Sala Audiovisual de Biblioteca Municipal. Las proyecciones de las peliculas seran en el Auditorio Municipal.
Definitivamente un festival que no podemos dejar ir. Este año el país invitado es Bosnia y Herzegovina. Cine independiente. Esten muy pendientes proximamente de la programación, habra funciones para niños y todo publico. Seguimos sentando bases y trabajando para que nuestra comunidad y Puerto Peñasco llegue y suene en todos lados!
