The World Travel & Tourism Council has granted #SafeTravels recognition to the Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort. This makes Las Palomas the first in Sonora to receive such distinction. Luis Núñez Noriega, State Tourism Commission Chair, stated this reaffirms the priority on health for visitors to Sonora.
“One aspect of having achieved this distinction,” noted Núñez Noriega, “is to expand this to all tourism companies in the State whose biosafety protocols are aligned to global standards, as has been done at Las Palomas.”
Héctor Vázquez del Mercado, Las Palomas Beach and Golf general director, stressed his company’s pledge and that of the Administrative Board is, even in adversity, to continue working creatively, with commitment, and above all in adherence to health guidelines to ensure the health of both guests and associates.
