Given the quality of its services, care, and comfort, Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort was recently recognized once again by AAA as a 4-Diamond resort.
For a seventh year in a row, as the largest condominium complex in Sonora, Las Palomas received recognition of the American Automobile Association (AAA), which acknowledges hotels and restaurants offering the highest quality of luxury, quality, and service.
Héctor Vázquez del Mercado, General Manager of the award-winning resort, praised the achievement as this means the efforts and care of the entire staff are being recognized and supported. He remarked international recognition of the resort is a result of everyone’s work, ranging from a warm welcome at the reception desk, to housekeeping, and management.
“AAA reviews everything, including the reservation system, training, reception, cleaning, and other details,” he noted.
The Las Palomas General Manager indicated curiously the only two lodging spots with AAA 4-Diamond distinction in Sonora include a small boutique hotel in Álamos, and Las Palomas, which offers more than 2000 rooms and employs more than 500 people.
AAA, with 54 million affiliated members, is the only rating system for the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean that currently reviews up to 59,000 hotels and restaurants, with only 4% of these having received such distinction.
