Baseball stars came out Sunday night, June 2nd, at the Juego de Estrellas game and Homerun Derby held between the Zona Costa and Zona Frontera of the Liga Norte de Sonora. To begin, eight eager homerun kings stepped up to bat, with HomeRun Derby awards going to Jorge Delgado from the Vaqueros of Agua Prieta. In the All-Star game, despite an early lead the Zona Costa (Puerto Penasco, Caborca, and Empalme) fell 5-1 to the Zona Frontera team (Nogales, Agua Prieta, and Cananea).
