This Rundown sponsored by Capone’s (Ave. Sinaloa)
2015 has rolled into Puerto Peñasco under partly cloudy skies but with temperatures heading in the right direction. According to Weather Underground, this weekend calls for clear skies and temps up in the high 60°s F. So grab a light jacket and let’s run down the weekend.
Travel notes: 2015 will be yet another year full of road improvements, detours, and discovering new ways to get around town. When coming into town, roadwork continues on the stretch of Blvd. Juarez from the first stoplight to near Sam’s. If heading to Sandy Beach, Cholla Bay, or spots west we recommended turning at the sign toward Laguna del Mar and then join up with the coastal road just past the train tracks. If heading to Las Conchas or points east, turn left at the first stoplight onto Blvd. Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez – you can double back to Blvd. Juarez just after Sam’s or continue on Blvd. Ortiz all the way to Blvd. Fremont. Watch for detours around town (particularly at the Circle K on Blvd. Juarez near the docks), and remain alert for STOP signs when you least expect them.
