Numbers from these important holiday weekends are registered after closing out the Summer vacation period, which saw a 2.6% increase in visitors to the area over last year. This means overall hotel occupancy rates were above 60% during the past three months, 65% of these from the United States and abroad, with 35% from Mexico.
