Theater, music, ballet, and magic shows are all part of holiday activities this December in Puerto Peñasco. Here’s a line up of what’s going on.
Dec. 6th – “Un Santa Claus en apuros” – theater for the whole family in Spanish. Convention Center 3 p.m and 7 p.m. Tickets vary from 70, 100, and 130 pesos depending on section.
Dec. 7th – Grand Musical Show along with Magician Arthur Cooner from Orlando, FL – Civil Auditorium (across from City Hall) 6 p.m. 80 pesos. Special guests to include characters such as Dora the Explorer plus Diego, Mickey and Minni Mouse, Spiderman, “Peppa Pig,” and of course Santa.
Also on Dec. 7th – Poet and actress Rosa Vila Font will present a Futuristic Poetic Spectacle “Pera Poem y el pozo de los versos” (Spanish) 4:30 p.m. at the auditorium of the Superior Technological Institute of Puerto Peñasco (ITSPP) 80 pesos
For those who enjoy dance, the Destiny Dance Academy (after their summer shows once again at DisneyLand) will once again be putting on the Nutcracker on Dec. 12th and 13th. Showtimes: Dec. 12 7:30 p.m., Dec. 13 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are 100 pesos in advance and available at Destiny Dance in Plaza Freemont (Blvd. Fremont across from Banorte) and will be 120 at the door (tickets go fast!)
Dec. 15th – 6th Grand Christmas Concert by the Puerto Peñasco Music Academy 7 p.m. Quinta Ventura Adults 100 pesos / Children 50 pesos
Dec. 19th – Another holiday event for the whole family will be the “Christmas Concert” by the Municipal School of Music, under the guidance of German Esquer. Convention Center 7 p.m. Tickets 100 pesos
