Trim the tree with used gift wrapping, plastic bottles, and decorations of Christmas past? This weekend, the Puerto Peñasco Recycling Club (Club de Reciclaje de Puerto Peñasco) will be doing just that and more as they set about building an eco-holiday-tree at Plaza del Camarón, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Instead of throwing away old Christmas ornaments, wrapping paper, plastic bottles, used toys, or stuffed animals that may be in poor shape, bring them to Plaza del Camarón and help build the tree.
Plus items requested to help out a family that recently lost their home to a fire: household items, canned food, clothing, and blankets.
