Tea Fiesta and Diaper Drive
July 6th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Giuseppi’s Espresso Café on Fremont
Once again, we are collecting diapers and wet wipes for Amores de Penasco, the children’s crisis center. This facility has now been added to the Steps of Love 501.c3 which is a U.S. charitable organization, so your donations can be deducted on your U.S. Income Tax. For more information check the end of this message.
Back to the Tea Fiesta. Drop in at Giuseppi’s and buy a coffee (including sugar free and decaf specialty coffee drinks) or tea drink and a pastry (or sugar free cookies) and enjoy some social time with your friends and neighbors. Bring a box of diapers and/or wipes. Diapers in sizes 3, 4, 5 are most needed. There is a need for the adult pull-up type diapers for some of our older handicapped neighbors, so please consider expanding your donation to include those.
Organizers pledge that donations will go directly to Amores or to an adult individual where they are most needed.
Thank you and hope to see many of you at the Tea Fiesta! Special thanks to Maria, Anita and staff at Giuseppi’s for staying open after hours and being there to serve us while we collect the diapers.
