20th Marina Fest through June 1st – With carnival rides and a music stage set up near the intersection of Blvd. Juárez and No Reelección (across from the Baseball stadium), this year’s event organized by the Professional Business and Women’s Club welcomes the entire community for a real Peñasco fest. Proceeds from the event go toward the Club’s ongoing scholarship programs for young women in town.

May 31st – Lucha Libre wrestles its way to Puerto Peñasco – Peñasco ExpoCenter 7 p.m. Tickets available at Circle K locations
June 1st – Día de la Marina / Marine (Naval) Day
Early morning honors may be viewed in the area of the malecón with subsequent departure of boats from city docks that partake in laying wreaths out at sea.

June 3rd– 8 p.m. A very special CineMartes – Tuesday Film night with the showing of Pedro Ultreras’ documentary “ABC NUNCA MAS” (ABC Never Again), now on the 5th anniversary of this tragic fire at the ABC daycare in Hermosillo, Sonora. Additional showings open to the public on Tuesday morning, June 3 9:30 a.m. at ITSPP and Wednesday, June 4 at 5 p.m. at UTPP
June 5 – Music Academy “New Horizons” concert 7 p.m. Quinta Ventura
June 5 – Las Conchas Summer Concert with Acoustic Carpet (Tempe, AZ), local saxophonist Richard Scott & Friends 6:30 p.m. Fiesta Park in Las Conchas $5 US / fundraiser for Las Conchas Community Relations Committee. BYOB and bring a blanket or chair.

June 7 – San Peregrino fundraising breakfast 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Las Palomas Convention Center 120 pesos – San Peregrino is a local organization seeking to provide counseling, economic, spiritual, and logistic support to individuals combatting cancer. One of their goals is to build a hospice center in Puerto Peñasco.
