The countdown is on…less than 3 weeks till Christmas followed right after by the New Year! Yet, before that, the holiday season can be felt across the city with the traditional holiday tree going up at Plaza la Madre, evening pilgrimages through town leading up to Dec. 12th – Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe – and of course holiday parties “posadas” along with Christmas trees and decorations popping up under a palapa or two. Begin lining up at clubhouse parking lot about 6:30 p.m. (after potluck..which is at 5 p.m.) and parade begins around 7 pm.
